El-Björn - CONNECT
The ability to monitor product performance is a key tool to help minimise your energy consumption and ultimately save costs. Our new online platform El-Björn CONNECT places the power into the customer hands, providing remote access to El-Björn products directly to their laptop, tablet or mobile phone.
- User friendly – Our online portal interface has been designed with the user in mind, being easy to navigate and extract data.
- Reduction in wasted energy – Information is one of the most important tools for learning how to control energy.
- Consumption efficiently – Avoiding over heating is as important as not reaching required temperature limits.
- Power outage – The CONNECT system will send an alarm notifying of a power outage avoiding issues arising from a site with lost power for a long period of time.
- Price – A minimal additional spend that will be covered by saved energy cost.
- Efficient energy usage – Reducing your energy consumption, CO2 output and cost. The recorded CO2 saving can be applied as a reduction to the project life cycle carbon footprint report.

Unit Monitoring & control
Direct unit control – compatible with our TF EBC heaters, through El-Björn CONNECT, you are able to remotely control units instantly, including; activating and deactivating (or pre-set start and finish times) the unit, as well as changing fan speed, target temperature and humidity level settings. Statistics such as energy consumption, temperature and humidity input and output, and air filter performance are delivered through to the platform in real time. This combined with pre-set alert notifications allow you to quickly react to product performance to avoid any unnecessary downtime.
Sensor monitors – working in combination with our Heaters, Drying fans, Dehumidifiers and Cooling units, or as standalone devices, our sensors deliver useful temperature and humidity readings of a given environment, allowing you to react quicker to sudden environmental changes.
Generator management
At El-Björn we use the industry leading Deep Sea Controllers and the Deep Sea Webnet platform to remotely monitor our fleet of Stage V Diesel Generators. Through this service our team of experts are able to quickly assist customers throughout their hire contract. functions such as; pre-setting generator start and finish times for optimal use, and providing performance reports such as; failover, power output, in-volts, oil pressure, coolant temperature and hourly running time, are all at the click of a button. By using this information our customers are able to optimise the generator running time and power output to suit the needs of their project.
Using the Deep Sea Webnet platform, we can quickly react to necessary changes needed to ensure the generator is working to full efficiency, as well as respond to any level indicators, critical alarms, or possible issues that may arise during operations. This can be either by remotely changing performance levels or swiftly deployment of an engineer to rectify any issues, or even simply arranging the next timely fuel delivery to avoid any unwanted generator downtime.
This full autonomy allows you to have instant control of the power output for your project, helping to minimise CO2 output and reducing project running costs.
