MOD.DU-FS8-1600A: Temporary Power Distribution Unit

The MOD.DU-FS8-1600A is a robust, freestanding Temporary Power Distribution Unit with a space saving double sided design. Constructed from galvanised sheet steel rated to 1600A, this unit is built to the requirements of BS EN 61439-4 to meet the rigorous demands of construction sites and other heavy industrial areas.

Key Features:

• The front of the unit is equipped with a 24W busbar assembly rated at 1600A, housed in a secure 1300mm wide enclosure.
• The rear of the unit is equipped with 2 x 800A 4P MCCB with electronic trip units, test sockets and segregated cable covers to IP2X, housed in a secure 1300mm wide enclosure.
• A 1600A 4P Schneider MCCB incomer, located in a segregated end box, consisting of 5x test lead sockets to enable safer onsite testing. This incomer is metred using a kWhr meter which can be integrated with our El-Bjorn Temporary BMS for an additional charge.
• A traditional 8W Pan Assembly mounted on the opposite end from the unit incomer.
• A heavy duty stand with integral forklift pockets.
• Vertical crane lifting point eyelets.
• Secure padlockable door on the front and rear of the unit.

Furthermore, our range of MOD.DU Modules are compatible with all our MOD.DU temporary power distribution units rated from 250A – 1600A, allowing for seamless integration and flexibility.

• Hardwire MCCB/RCD Subcircuits: Available in ranges from 125A to 630A, ideal for powering heavy-duty construction equipment.
• Direct Connect Modules: Configure the unit to serve as a tower crane switch or plant RCD with capacities from 125A to 630A.
• Segregated 160A MCB Modules: Provide precise control and distribution of power across multiple site locations.
• Commando Socket Outlet Modules: Simplify connections for portable equipment commonly used on construction sites.
• Powerlock Modules: Create a secure, plug-and-play system for reliable, high-capacity power distribution.
