Our Socket Mains Distribution Units (SMDU) are a high-performance industrial power distribution system, designed for construction sites, industrial facilities, events, and exhibitions. Built to BS EN 60309-2 standards and constructed from heavy-duty, powder-coated aluminium, the SMDU is designed to withstand the rough conditions of an active site. Its freestanding design on a tubular aluminium folding stand provides stability on uneven surfaces, while wall-mounting fixings offer secure and flexible installation options. Additionally, he units top-mounted carry handles allow for easy transportation, and a padlockable front access door prevents unauthorised access to the internal components.

• 1m H07RN-F cable (heavy-duty, oil-resistant, and flexible) with a 32A 5P 400V IP44 Commando inlet (BS EN 60309-2)
• Integrated MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker) for overcurrent protection and isolation, preventing overloads and short circuits
• High-visibility LED digital phase indicators providing real-time voltage and amperage readings per phase, allowing for quick diagnostics and monitoring

• 2no 16A 5P 400V IP44 Commando socket outlets (BS EN 60309-2)
• Each outlet is individually protected by a C16A 30mA 6kA 4P RCBO (Residual Current Breaker with Overcurrent) for maximum electrical safety
• IP44-rated sockets offer protection against dust and water splashes, making the unit ideal for outdoor and indoor use
