After our initial inspection, we proposed a more efficient solution for the client. The use of indirect fire heaters would generate further humidity in the affected areas, heating cold and damp external air and drawing more moisture into the building. Our solution was to use localised our Electric Heater Units combined with our Dehumidification Units, to effectively agitate and heat the air, releasing more moisture from surrounding surfaces, which is then collected by the dehumidification units.
This method has been proven as the most cost effective and time efficient process of drying and moisture removal from a given area, one we have implemented successfully implemented in many different construction projects.
Multiple heater and dehumidifier units were provided for the site, powered by a 60kVA Stage V Diesel Generator in connection with our Sockets Mains Distribution Units. This combination provided effective drying to the site to allow construction works to restart.
